The Massachusetts Port Authority contracted with Edwards and Kelcey, Inc. to provide engineering consulting services on various airfield projects for a three year period. Projects to be completed included: pavement overlays, pavement repair, marking and grooving, new and upgraded airfield lighting, airfield storm drain system improvements, airfield specific engineering studies.

The study of the storm drain system focuses on ascertaining whether storm sewer systems are adequately sized as designed and defects or design flows are causing localized flooding.

Savin conducted sewer inspections including destructive and non-destructive techniques and make recommendations for rehabilitations. In addition, stormwater modeling was used to determine the adequacy of sewer sizing.
