The automotive shop and North Hub Garage was constructed for the purpose of fleet maintenance for many of the TBTA heavy and light vehicles. It is a central hub for all TBTA vehicles for preventative maintenance and larger more elaborate repairs. Savin provided construction inspection services on nearly all components of the project.

The project included: Demolition, excavation, structural steel, site work, concrete, masonry, drywall acoustical ceilings, roofing sheet metal, exterior wall panels, hollow metal and roll-up doors, wall and floor finishing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, public address, fire alarm and security systems.

The auto shop houses specialized industrial and commercial equipment to repair vehicles including in-ground hydraulic car lifts, in-ground hydraulic truck lifts, one wheel alignment lift for cars and trucks, brake rotor and drum lathes for cars and trucks (over 20K lbs), one engine lathe, one engine steam cleaner, a wheel balancer and 20 ton overhead crane on trolley system.
