Savin Engineers provided construction inspection services on the construction of the noise barrier. The project involved the construction and erection of 24,800 square feet of concrete pre-cast wall along the New York State Thruway (M.P. 14.64 to M.P. 16.76) in Rockland County. It consisted of 115 posts and 114 panels. The posts and panels ranged from 10 to 22 feet in height, and were installed by crane throughout the project.

Savin also inspected the excavation of footings for the barriers and the fabrication of all posts and panels that were pre-cast at the plant. Maintenance and Protection of traffic was also given special attention as the project was in close proximity to the Thruway.
